Mote Park is Maidstone’s green heart — a 450-acre historic parkland where nature, history, and adventure come together. Home to a beautiful 30-acre lake, woodlands, open meadows, and award-winning facilities, the park offers something for everyone. From scenic walks and family play areas to watersports, adventure trails, and year-round events, this is a place to relax, explore, and enjoy. Just minutes from Maidstone town centre, it’s the perfect destination for both locals and visitors.

Mote Park lake is bursting with things to do, from the Watersports Centre you can explore kayaks, paddleboards, sailing, boating, pedalo swans, rowing, diving, windsurfing and more. Suitable for beginners to experienced. There are also perfect fishing spots (permit required).
